Youth
SPYs (St. Paul’s Youth) meets in the church fellowship hall every Friday night at 7 p.m.
Led by Stephanie Schoock and John Mogk, we engage in a lot of fun activities.
We play games and go on fun outings. We also take time for prayer when youth can share gratitudes and concerns for the group to pray about. The gratitudes are often for having the group itself and the concerns are commonly for a friend or family member who is having some struggle. The youth volunteer to assist with our annual Toy drive. Some have joined in with the serving in the community meals and we have assisted in the Friday night homeless outreach. We are a full partner with Good Shepherd church youth in the Mt. Seymour trip. We also invite them to a Youth skate (and games) night. SPYs have held several fund-raisers throughout the year, such as the Christmas Poinsettia sale. Monies raised will go towards funding for youth to attend gatherings or camps as the opportunities present themselves.
