Lenten meals and speakers

     We offer a midweek Lenten series which begins the week after Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday and it runs each Wednesday, up to Holy Week.   The theme for the midweek Lenten series:  “What is God up to in our neighbourhood?” 
     We begin at 6 p.m. with a simple meal of soup and a bun in the Fellowship Hall.   We are then joined by guest speakers, leaders in our community who will give us a look at what is going on in the community of Maple Ridge, from their perspective.   
​     After our meal and the presentation of our guests, we clean up and then begin worship at 7:30 p.m.  If you can’t make the meal and speakers you are still more than welcome to come and attend worship at 7:30.   Our worship features Holden Evening Prayer.  
     We encourage people to sign up for soup and for attendance.   We hope to have about 3 volunteers for each week, to provide soup and buns.
