BAPTISM
In Holy Baptism, our gracious God frees us from sin and death by joining us to the death and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ. By the waters of baptism, we are reborn children of God.
The rite of Holy Baptism normally takes place during our 10 a.m. Sunday worship as the congregation welcomes a new member into the body of Christ, to work with them in bearing God’s creative and redeeming word to all the world.
Prior to a Baptism, the Pastor meets with an individual or the parents of a child, to provide instruction around our understanding of Holy Baptism. These are arranged at the convenience of the individual or the parents seeking baptism.
To schedule a baptism, email St. Paul’s at [email protected], or call 604-467-4343.
